Officially re-launched in July 2004, the new-look ilikemusic.com still has no corporate involvement, and is still self-producing 100% of its content and achieving its initial aim - to provide a quality independent alternative to the plethora of corporate-run sites. has kept focusing on content rather than revenue. And that has paid off, with a good subscriber base and visitor numbers. The site also received a special mention as a finalist in last year’s Hampshire Web Awards, along with a 9/10 on ITV’s The Web Review.

We now have two consecutive awards for our web technology and have gone on to be nominated for Best Music Magazine at the BT Digital Music Awards up against NME in 2006 and 2007.
