Professional photo gallery and photo diary application on the way...

posted on Saturday 13th February, 2010 by Bluebit Limited, Southampton, Neil Brooks

After speaking to some amateur and professional photography firms and individuals, it's clear that there isn't a product out there that allows them to focus on what they do best - take photographs - and also have a professional, own branded website.

conGuu 1.11 update imminent

posted on Thursday 4th February, 2010 by Bluebit Limited, Southampton, Neil Brooks

We're currently working on version 1.11 which will have a new backup module enabling you to carry out your own backups of your conGuu accounts. You'll also be able to schedule them and keep up to 7 days of rolling backups. This will give you more control and peace of mind in case you accidentally delete that important article or remove that useful PDF.

Of course, we'll always back up the conGuu engine in the unlikely event of a hardware failure too, so you're covered both ways. How cool is that!

Expect to see Version 1.11 in the next couple of weeks.

Bluebit Website

posted on Friday 29th January, 2010 by Bluebit Limited, Southampton, Neil Brooks

We've been busy with our new site and it's now up and running. The new version now encompasses some more jQuery and AJAX to make for a more fluid and dynamic feeling website. One significant difference is that pageloads no longer act as a refresh and we simply re-populate specific parts of the page.

Taking the Greyhound

posted on Tuesday 26th January, 2010 by Bluebit Limited, Southampton, Neil Brooks

After travelling up to London from Southampton on National Express recently I was pleased to see that their coaches have recently been updated. The velour seats replaced by comfortable leather ones and the addition of wifi for any traveller who has a laptop of wifi enabled mobile phone. Overall a very pleasant experience from Southampton to the Big Smoke!

conGuu 1.9.0 featuring RSS feeds

posted on Tuesday 3rd November, 2009 by Bluebit Limited, Southampton, Neil Brooks

The newest version of conGuu (1.9.0) is about to be released, with a new RSS feed option available for each section that you want to add it to. This will allow your users to subscribe to busy parts of your site such your blog enabling you to keep you users up to date.

There are some more exciting things happening with our completely new V2.0.0 engine which is due to come into service next year. A true "drag and drop" interface is currently being designed along with inline editing allowing you to see in real time how your page will look before publishing it.

We're also going to be adding another free module in V2.0.0 allowing our users to schedule backups of their own conGuu account in case they make a mistake and need to revert back to a previous version of their content.
