which web browser do you use?

So which web browser do you use?
What's your personal favourite? How do you choose? Is security more important or do you need something quick to load?
As web designers and developers we ask these questions on a regular basis and we download and test our sites on as many browsers that we feel are relevant. With the imminent arrival of Internet Explorer 9, how will this change peoples perception of the web browser and will Internet Explorer 6 finally die?
Our current cohort of browsers installed on our testing computers are:
- Internet Explorer 6
- Internet Explorer 7
- Internet Explorer 8
- Internet Explorer 9 (beta)
- Firefox 2
- Firefox 3.6
- Google Chrome 6
- Google Chrome 7
- Opera 9.5
- Opera 10
- Safari 3
- Safari 4
- Safari 5
Phew! thats a lot of browsers to test, but then we do know our browsers and what they're capable of (or not) so we are pretty good at delivering websites that work on all these browsers. We even make sure that if a particular featureset is not supported on a particular browser, we'll ensure it "gracefully degrades" and still works albeit in a slightly revised manner.

My mobile phone contract comes to an end next month and I'm looking to upgrade to something a little newer that the iPhone 3G I currently run. Why? well the initial reason for the iPhone was to start developing web applications specifically for the iPhone. This has led to us developing App Store Apps and quite frankly I have been totally blown away by Apples clever little device.
conGuu CMS image galleries
posted on Friday 8th October, 2010 by Neil Brooks
conGuu galleries bolt-on. Now you can upload and manage your images en-masse, creating web based public and private galleries, displaying full screen images, watermarking, and categorising your work, all within your website!!!
We are working on the ability to allow you to sell your images online at the price that you decide. Bluebit and conGuu will take your customers payment over the internet, organise the printing of the images requested and deliver them to your customers. You will receive the payment into your bank within 14 days.
This is squarely aimed at professional photographers who want a good looking, professionally designed website but need the functionality to sell online and display their work. It's an ideal opportunity for wedding photography, product shots, or simply a range of images you would like to sell publicly.
It will save you time and money as the site can become the sales tool that you can point people to whilst you carry on with taking the shots rather than organising the printing and payment of lots of orders manually.
Why not take a look at an example site gallery.conguu.com for inspiration, or take a look at one of our clients live sites www.incitephotography.co.uk.
ilikemusic.com website goes live
posted on Friday 30th July, 2010 by Neil Brooks
We've been busy with the guys from I Like Music over the past few weeks designing and building their new interface. The site is now live and we're all really excited about it.
There are some exciting features such as streaming audio and playlists plus a weekly format where each week content is added rather like a real magazine.
Some extra features will be added in the next couple of weeks (I'm not allowed to say what yet) but the very fact that you can now choose 6 different 20 track playlists based on the 6 main genres that I Like Music file their music under should fill most peoples boots.
